Job Position: Volunteer – Medical Officer & Medical Consultant – Telehealth

Reports to: Volunteer Manager / Medical Director / Head of Clinical Team
Smart Health Global, a non-profit organization committed to providing quality healthcare services to underserved communities in remote areas, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Medical Officer and Medical Consultant for our digital health project. Education Background:
Degree in Medicine with valid medical council license and knowledge and experience of USG and ECG.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote medical consultations using telehealth technology.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records while ensuring confidentiality.
- Educate and empower patients with health guidance and self-care techniques.
- Stay updated on medical advancements in telehealth.
- Participate in training programs to enhance telehealth skills.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the telehealth platform.
- Involve in research work and paper publications
Requirements:
- Degree in medicine and valid medical council license
- Knowledge and experience of USG and ECG
- Strong interest in telehealth or digital health initiatives preferred
- Willingness to work remotely (work from home) and independently.
- Must have access to a laptop and a reliable internet connection.
- For Medical Officer – availability of 10-15 hours (2days) per week to deliver tele-consultation.
- For Medical Consultant/Specialist – availability of 5-10 hours per week to deliver tele-consultation.
- Commitment to volunteering for a minimum of 4 months.
- Strong interest in serving underserved communities in remote areas of Nepal.
