Smart Health Global, a non-profit organization committed to providing quality healthcare services to underserved communities in remote areas, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Research Associate for our Digital Health project. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about leveraging technology to make a positive impact on healthcare delivery in Nepal.
Education Background: Enrolled or freshly passed out of Bachelor or Master programs in Public Health, Nursing, other health sciences, or social work is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting research related to the impact and effectiveness of digital health interventions.
- Collect, analyze, and document data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Support in the development and implementation of research methodologies and tools.
- Assist in writing reports, summaries, and articles based on research findings.
- Collaborate with the team to document project activities, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Contribute to the dissemination of research findings through various communication channels.
Requirements:
- Willingness to work remotely (work from home) and independently.
- Must have access to a laptop and a reliable internet connection.
- Availability of 10-15 hours per week to dedicate to research and documentation tasks.
- Strong technological skills and familiarity with digital tools and platforms.
- Interest in research, impact evaluation, and data analysis.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on meeting deadlines and producing high-quality work.
- Commitment to volunteering for a minimum of 4 months.
- Strong desire to work for underserved communities in remote areas of Nepal.
