About Smart Health Global
Smart Health Global is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving healthcare access in remote communities of Nepal. We aim to provide better care to the people living in the remote area in an equitable manner by deploying the telehealth and mobile health project.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admin and Finance Officer to join our team in Nepal. This part-time role will support our mission by ensuring efficient administrative operations and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative tasks and accounting, with a passion for contributing to community health initiatives.
Required Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Role and Responsibilities
- Administrative Support:
- Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling meetings, record-keeping, and managing correspondence.
- Organize logistics for training sessions and project activities.
- Assist in creating and distributing reports, presentations, and other documents.
- Maintain and manage both physical and digital filing systems.
- Accounting Duties:
- Handle financial transactions such as processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Support budget preparation and monitor expenses.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with annual audits.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Liaise with team members, volunteers, and external partners to support project implementation.
- Respond promptly to inquiries and requests from stakeholders.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate records of contacts, project information, and financial data.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for monitoring and evaluating project outcomes.
- Support to Frontline Health Workers:
- Help organize training sessions and workshops for health workers.
- Provide administrative assistance for deploying digital health solutions.
Requirement
- Demonstrated experience in administrative and accounting roles.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
